The pay range for Apprentice Parts Counterpersons is $29.00 - $37.00 per hour, based on experience. The work schedule is Monday
- Friday 9:30 a.m.

- 6:00 p.m., with Saturdays required on a rotating basis.

This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Castaic, CA.

As a Parts Counterperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in obtaining required parts and supplies while achieving monthly sales targets through encouraging additional parts sales.

• Promote sale of parts and accessories to all customers: walk‑in, telephone or internal technicians
• Provide exceptional customer service to maximum customer satisfaction
• Keep abreast of all new products and updates through continuous learning
• Locate all parts as requested by customers and/or technicians
• Prepare parts invoices and credit notes for all counter sales and issue parts for all work orders
• Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock
• Accurately document all shipping and receiving of parts
• Maintain files and update parts related information on a regular basis

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Post‑secondary diploma or trade certification preferred
• 4+ years related experience in truck parts sales
• Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others
• Ability to self‑manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong business ethics with a professional approach at all times
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Forklift Certification or ability to attain certification
