- Sell Western Growers Health medical, dental, vision, life benefit plans, TPA services, and other health‑related products to businesses on an outbound basis through health benefits brokers, achieving and exceeding new business sales goals.
- Present HUB/Western Growers Health value propositions effectively in client and prospect meetings, tailoring solutions for unique audiences.
- Build and nurture relationships at the agency principal level, and execute territory‑management strategies to meet annual business plans and budgets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, integrated strategies to acquire agencies and/or books of business, supporting HUB growth objectives.
- Collaborate with HUB leadership to create strategies for purchasing AT accounts from identified agents and hold broker training sessions on WGFC and Western Growers Health capabilities.
- Generate new business opportunities through broker roadshows, RFP creation, design consultations, and negotiation of coverage terms, conditions and pricing.
- Coordinate open enrollments, schedule meetings, order collateral materials, and support brokers and employers with communication and education of health plan benefits.
- Maintain strong broker/consultant and client relationships, execute renewal strategies, and deliver superior service to retain clients.
- Cross‑sell Western Growers products and services, aiming for account saturation and profitable book growth through new business, renewals, and cross‑selling.
- Document all sales activities, client interactions and pipeline updates in the CRM system; use relationship‑management systems effectively.
- Participate as a leader among internal staff, external brokers, and clients, propelling HUB’s financial and strategic goals.
- Travel may be required up to 70% of the time.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business‑to‑business (B2B) sales; prior experience in insurance sales highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Experience selling into a specific industry or specialty preferred.
- Life & Health license required.

This position requires a stationary workday for the majority of the time, frequent communication with colleagues and clients in person and by telephone, extensive computer use, and occasional office movement to access files and office equipment.
BenefitsCompensation ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience, and may include health, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA and 401(k) plans, paid‑time‑off, bonuses, equity and commissions for eligible positions.
