We invite our guests to immerse themselves in a redesigned Wine Country experience in a delightfully vino-cultured manner: two luxury hotels with decidedly different personalities – the vibrant Hotel Villagio and its sophisticated counterpart, Vintage House, a chic and tranquil sanctuary.
A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Wine Educator to deliver exceptional wine education experiences to our guests. The Wine Educator is a key ambassador of The Estate Yountville, creating memorable wine experiences that build relationships, drive direct-to-consumer sales, and grow wine club membership. The ideal candidate is polished, engaging, sales-minded, and passionate about wine and luxury hospitality.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Convert qualified guests into wine club members and achieve individual sales goals.
- Build relationships that generate repeat purchases, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
- Conduct personalized follow-up, outbound outreach, release campaigns, and retention efforts.
- Contribute directly to estate revenue and sustained membership growth.
- Host private tastings with warmth, confidence, and professionalism.
- Deliver personalized service and share The Estate Yountville story through engaging wine education.
- Coordinate with culinary and events teams on elevated food-and-wine experiences.
- Maintain tasting spaces, materials, inventory, and presentation to luxury standards.
- Execute opening, closing, reservations, guest communications, and daily tasting-room procedures.
- Support inventory control, member events, and cross-department coordination.
- Maintain exceptional organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Required qualifications:
- Wine, luxury hospitality, fine-dining, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, sales, and relationship-building skills.
- Polished professional presence and confidence presenting membership opportunities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- POS and CRM experience preferred; weekend, holiday, and occasional evening availability required.
