JOB TITLE: Product Specialist

SUMMARY: The Product Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional, technology-focused customer experience throughout the vehicle ownership journey. This position serves as the dealership’s product expert, providing engaging vehicle demonstrations, technology and feature education, and post-sale support to ensure customers are confident and comfortable with their vehicle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver Engaging, tailored product walk-arounds and demonstrations to prospective and current clients in both the sales and service department.
  • Maintains a full and current knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Conduct post-sale feature walkthroughs to ensure clients are fully confidetn operating their new of pre-owned vehicle's technology, safety features, and custom settings.
  • Build long-term client trust by serving as the dealership's primary subject matter expert on all vehicle models, trim packages, and accessories.
  • Provides support for marketing collaterals, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, trade shows and other promotional activities.
  • Assists in new product introduction and release activities.
  • Addresses customer issues and concerns in a timely fashion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Works with business team to identify new customers and to retain existing customers.
  • Produce high-quality, professional walk around video tours for new and pre-owned inventory to feature on the dealership website and digital channels.
  • Create and schedule engaging social media posts highlighting featured vehicles, dealership updates, and customer delivery moments to expand online outreach.
  • Introduce clients to the service department post-sale, guiding them through the online service appointment scheduling process and owner portal setup.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition between the sales process and long-term vehicle maintenance to boost customer retention.
  • Perform rigorous Quality Control (QC) inspections on all new and pre-owned vehicles prior to client delivery to ensure cosmetic and mechanical perfection.
  • Accurately complete and maintain detailed client information sheets, unsuring all CRM records are up to date for smooth follow-up and compliance.
  • Maintains complete documentations for all product related activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
    Valid Drivers License
  • Other skills required:
