** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing traffic and/or pedestrians to approved areas.

+ Monitor and document inbound and outbound shipments, trailers, and vehicle movements by reviewing shipping paperwork, logging arrivals and departures, and reporting irregularities per site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed and completing required reports.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, dock areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related hazards or maintenance concerns.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
