** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, carriers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies.

+ Operate access control points at a manufacturing and/or corporate location, including checking identification, verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges, and directing authorized traffic to appropriate areas.

+ Monitor alarms, cameras, access control panels, and/or activity at entry points, and report irregular conditions in accordance with post orders.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.

+ Complete required documentation such as visitor logs, vehicle and delivery records, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
