Vernon Camp Security Temporary

Overview

We are currently seeking skilled, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Guards to provide security coverage at a military camp environment. This position requires robust professionalism, situational awareness, and the ability to work within a structured and disciplined setting. It is a temporary assignment (July4 - August
23) with the possibility of continued casual employment with Paladin Security based on operational needs, attendance, performance, and business requirements.

• Monitor and secure assigned areas and access points
• Conduct foot patrols and mobile patrols as required
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorized access
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation
• Provide professional customer service and communication with site personnel and visitors
• Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and security protocols

• Valid BC Security Worker License
• Valid Class5 Driver’s License considered an asset
• Excellent communication and report‑writing skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to conduct patrols and remain active for extended periods
• First Aid certification considered an asset

• Must be able to pass any required background screening and site clearance requirements
• Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Availability for versatile scheduling is preferred
• Successful candidates will demonstrate reliability, accountability, professionalism, integrity, strong judgment and decision‑making, adaptability in dynamic environments, and commitment to safety and security standards

• High School Diploma/GED

• Valid BC Security Licence
• Vulnerable Sector Check
