US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Monitor and troubleshoot Marine Corps Electronic Security Systems, Intrusion Detection System, alarm, mass notification and CCTV systems at the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department;
Receive and process incoming fire alarms, 911 calls, emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire, medical emergencies, airfield emergencies, and environmental and hazardous materials incidents;
Dispatch personnel and apparatus to the scene of emergencies and record pertinent data, events, and logs;
Initiate pre-arrival instructions to callers for fire, medical, and police emergencies;
Monitor status and availability of police, fire, and medical field units to ensure an appropriate response;
Operate the Mass Notification System (MNS) to disseminate emergency messages installation-wide
