Residential Security Agent - Armed; Seasonal

We are currently seeking an experienced Full-Time seasonal Residential Security Agent in the Lake Tahoe, CA area. This full‑time role requires commitment during the seasonal period and involves providing the welfare, physical protection, and overall security of a high‑profile client through armed and/or unarmed executive protection assignments in residential settings.

You will offer close protection and other security‑related functions during domestic and international assignments, working independently in dynamic, fast‑paced environments while representing Surefox and its clients with pride.

Hourly Rate: $50.00

• Providing close protection to clients at residential properties.
• Ensuring the overall safety and security of assigned residential properties.
• Monitoring security systems and conducting regular patrols.
• Responding to and addressing security incidents and emergencies.
• Interacting with residents, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Completing accurate and detailed incident reports.
• Conducting inspections of residential properties to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Performing other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Job location in the Lake Tahoe, CA area.
• Valid California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit without work restriction.
• Valid California Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Valid California Guard Card.
• Ability to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.

• Ability to see, hear, speak, and write clearly.
• Capacity to hear conversations in noisy environments.
• Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required.
• Capability to squat, kneel, and crawl as needed.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, carrying, or lifting of objects up to 50 lbs, including climbing stairs.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Dexterity to use hands to handle, hold, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with arms.
• Normal vision corrected by glasses or contacts for reading and viewing.
• Ability to adjust focus and use close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and overall vision.
• Potential to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Ability to restrain individuals and respond to clients’ needs through established guidelines.
• Capability to manage occasional confrontational situations involving use of force and escalation of force.
