Senior Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Overview

Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician opportunity with Walmart. The role supports and oversees repair within Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and a range of tools to complete jobs. This position is located at a local Walmart retail store.

As a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, ascend/descend ladders, and work at heights frequently.

Individual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Eligible for bonus incentive.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.
