The Fountain Group is currently seeking a T-7 Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Edwards, CA . Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: T-7 Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Location: Edwards, CA 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $49.13 - $61.92/hr
Duration: 12 Months

• Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of T-7 aircraft systems, including communication/navigation (Comm/Nav), instrumentation, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose aircraft faults to the component level using technical orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with maintenance directives and aviation regulatory requirements.
• Remove and install aircraft panels and components to facilitate maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Operate aircraft ground support equipment (GSE) and support flight-line maintenance operations.
• Complete maintenance documentation and records electronically and manually in accordance with USAF and organizational requirements.
• Support quality assurance inspections, maintenance program compliance, and corrective maintenance actions.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior aircraft maintenance personnel.
• Ensure compliance with tool control, environmental, and aircraft maintenance safety programs.
• Work second shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with overtime as required.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in Aircraft Maintenance, Avionics, Aerospace Systems, or related field preferred.

• 5–7 years of aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems to the component level.
• Proficiency interpreting technical orders, aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Experience supervising or leading aircraft maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with quality management systems in an aerospace or aviation environment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, electronic circuits, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Experience operating aircraft ground support equipment (GSE).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance (required to start).
• U.S. Person status required for Export Compliance.

• Experience supporting Development Programs and Flight Test Programs.
• Familiarity with USAF maintenance documentation, including AFTO 781 forms.
• Experience using Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
• Knowledge of DoD aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.
• Experience working within military aviation environments and supporting U.S. Government programs.
• Advanced aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault isolation expertise.
