Electrician Construction; Day Shift at Foster Farms Delhi, CA

Job Description

Pay Rate: $28.80 per hour. (Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am and 4:59am)

• Analyze and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Work from blueprints/schematics to perform maintenance/repair or install equipment.
• Report in writing materials and replacement parts needed for jobs; prepare and maintain maintenance invoices.
• Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training (e.g., Electrical Maintenance Mechanics; Classes B and
  
  C).
• Determine proper size and specifications and perform electrical maintenance on miscellaneous items such as wire, conduit, fuses, motors, switches, panels, lighting, relays, control devices, etc.
• Prepare layouts of electrical circuits.
• Inspect motors, motor control centers, junction boxes, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating, HVAC and make necessary preventative and/or running repairs/corrections.
• Perform installations, connections, adjustments and calibrations of electrical gauges, meters, etc.
• Troubleshoot computerized equipment controllers such as programmable temperature and process controllers, etc.
• General cleaning and/or assisting other crews if required.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, sanitation and disease control requirements while performing job duties.

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of training on the job and/or formal schooling.
• Must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision and complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work from a ladder.
• Must have and maintain a California driver’s license and an acceptable DMV record.
