The Golf Club at Copper Valley is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equipment Manager/Mechanic to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of our golf course equipment fleet. Copper Valley is an 18-hole championship facility featuring a predominantly new Toro equipment fleet, providing an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to work with modern equipment in a high-quality golf course environment.
The Equipment Manager/Mechanic will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment, including gasoline, diesel, electric, and hydraulic systems. This individual will also play a key role in training staff on proper equipment operation and care, ensuring efficiency and longevity of the equipment fleet.
- 3+ years experience as a golf course equipment mechanic or related field
- Strong knowledge of Toro and John Deere equipment preferred
- Experience with reel grinding, mower setup, and cutting unit adjustments
- Ability to troubleshoot diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- The position will require working one weekend per month
