Position: Mobile Technician (95230)
Location: Farmington

As a  Mobile Technician , you perform intermediate-level maintenance and repairs on J.B. Hunt tractors, trailers, chassis, containers and power equipment. This is a  field-based role , servicing tractor-trailer equipment on-site at customer sites and rail yards using a mobile service truck.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and intermediate repairs (tires, brakes, electrical, structural), including chassis and frame repairs, patching trailer and container panels and roofs
Inspect equipment and document damage for repair estimates and complete associated work orders with proper repair documentation
Perform AA trailer and FHWA brake inspections
Diagnose and repair ABS systems
Operate and maintain mobile service truck and inventory

Qualifications:

Candidates must be at least 18 years old
At least 1 year of hands-on mechanic experience servicing semi-trucks and/or trailers or military equivalent
Clean motor vehicle record
Able to supply your own basic tools or purchase through J.B. Hunt purchasing program

Preferred Qualifications:

DOT certifications in FHWA inspections and air brakes
Welding certification
Forklift certification and experience
EPA Section 608 certification and refrigeration license

The expected starting pay range for this position is between  $27.69 - $36.95.
