Journeyman Electrician – Commercial/Industrial HVAC

Location:

Bloomington, CA

Pay: $42–$45/hr + Per Diem + Company Truck + Full Benefits

Travel:
Throughout Southern California (Hotels Paid + Per Diem). We are Retrofit Technology, part of Kelso Industries, providing commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and service. Our team includes certified welders, electricians, and service technicians who tackle challenging HVAC projects with precision and care.

A hands-on Journeyman Electrician role focused on the electrical side of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. You’ll install, commission, troubleshoot, and support everything from VFDs to control systems to high/low voltage distribution. This role offers variety, travel, and autonomy.

• Install and commission HVAC electrical systems: VFDs, disconnects, controls, motors, high/low voltage circuits.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams and turn them into clean, code-compliant installations.
• Ensure everything meets CEC, NEC, and OSHA requirements—no shortcuts.
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and keep projects moving.
• Work directly with welders, HVAC techs, project managers, and mechanical teams.
• Travel across Southern California depending on project needs (overnights included).

• 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• California Certified Electrician (required).
• Real-world experience with HVAC electrical, motor controls, VFDs, relays, sensors, and control wiring.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the go.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

• $42–$45/hr depending on experience.
• Company vehicle + gas card.
• Per diem & hotels paid for overnight travel.
