Apprentice Service Technician

Securitas Technology is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to support installation, service, and maintenance of integrated electronic security and life safety systems. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will help install, test, and troubleshoot video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include following safety protocols, reading basic wiring diagrams, documenting work performed, and delivering professional on-site customer service.

This role offers structured training, exposure to cutting-edge security technologies, and a clear path for growth into a fully independent Service Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and service of electronic security and life safety systems
• Support troubleshooting of video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection equipment
• Follow safety procedures, electrical and site-specific protocols
• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and installation documentation
• Document work performed, parts used, and service outcomes accurately
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and company assets in good condition
• Provide professional, courteous on-site customer support
• Collaborate with senior technicians and team members to resolve complex issues
