- Diagnose and repair agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment
- Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs on agricultural, CWP, turf equipment, and established Ag Management Solutions products
- Participate in required Service EDUCATE training programs
- Support customer clinics
- Review and explain maintenance, repair, and service concerns directly with customers
- Document service concerns on work orders
- Promote and sell Premier Equipment service programs directly to customers when applicable
- Establish and implement effective seasonal parts-stocking processes with the Parts Department when applicable
- Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competing products
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Complete required reports and forms
- Account for all time and materials used in assigned duties
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on service repair experience
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly and operate diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Licensed technician certification (310T, 310S, 421A, or 425A) preferred
- Advanced or Master Service Technician certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience with John Deere equipment and systems preferred
- CDL and forklift licenses preferred
- Background in agricultural, turf, or compact construction equipment preferred
- Apprenticeship training or technical diploma is an asset
Demonstrates strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic abilities while providing excellent customer service in the repair and maintenance of agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintaining knowledge of John Deere and competing products.
