Maintenance Person III

Cal Portland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Person III to support reliable operations at our mining and materials processing facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, crushers, pumps, and support systems. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards. Working in a collaborative, safety-focused culture, you'll partner with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, document maintenance activities, and support equipment installations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facilities
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Support safe and efficient operation of mining and materials processing equipment
• Document maintenance activities and keep accurate service records
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning
• Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance
• Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
• Participate in maintenance planning, shutdowns, and reliability improvements
• Communicate equipment issues and recommendations to supervisors and engineering
