Commercial Plumber
Aggregate Mineral Resource Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Plumber to handle miscellaneous plumbing and pipe repairs for both industrial and residential projects. The Commercial Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and waste systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and company standards. The role involves working with industrial piping systems in the production facility, as well as residential plumbing systems within the company's properties.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing, pipe installation, and repair across diverse settings. They must be able to diagnose problems, determine the best solutions, and complete projects in a timely and professional manner. A strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety protocols, and various types of piping materials is essential.
Plumbing Installation and Repair- Pipe and System Installation:
Install, repair, and maintain water, gas, and sewage piping systems across both industrial facilities and residential properties. This includes the installation of new pipelines, connections, and plumbing fixtures in compliance with local and state plumbing codes. - Miscellaneous Plumbing Repairs:
Perform a wide range of repairs including fixing leaks, replacing worn or damaged pipes, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and faucets in residential properties. - Industrial Plumbing Maintenance:
Work with large-scale industrial piping systems, including troubleshooting and repairing systems related to water supply, compressed air, natural gas, and other utilities used in the plant. - Backflow Testing and Prevention:
Test and maintain backflow prevention systems to ensure compliance with local and state regulations. Install new backflow prevention devices as needed.
- Identify Plumbing Issues:
Diagnose issues within both residential and industrial plumbing systems. This includes identifying leaks, blockages, and faulty equipment. - Repair and Replace Components:
Replace damaged components such as pipes, valves, and gaskets to restore proper function to plumbing systems. - Perform Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues, minimize downtime, and extend the life of equipment and piping systems.
- Ensure Code Compliance:
Ensure all plumbing work adheres to local, state, and federal plumbing codes and standards. Stay up to date with code changes and industry best practices. - Maintain Safe Working Environment:
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, goggles, and hard hats while working. Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, especially when working in confined spaces or with hazardous materials. - Handle Hazardous Materials:
Safely work with and dispose of hazardous materials such as sewage, gas lines, and chemical drainage, following all safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Work with Other Departments:
Coordinate with maintenance teams, electricians, and other trades to ensure the successful completion of projects. Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruption during repairs. - Document Work Completed:
Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks performed. Update logs and submit reports to the Facilities Manager as required. - Customer Service and Interaction:
Provide professional service in residential settings, ensuring that plumbing work is performed to the satisfaction of the homeowner or tenant. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor.
Requirements
Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills
· Plumbing Expertise:
Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and methods. Proficiency in working with copper, PVC, galvanized, and cast-iron pipes.
· Technical
Skills:
