Aircraft Mechanic - Power Plants performs Organizational, Intermediate, and limited Depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on Gulfstream aircraft, components, and equipment. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other employees as needed.

• Perform Organizational, Intermediate, and limited Depot level maintenance including inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on Gulfstream aircraft, components, and equipment.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other employees as needed.
• Possess a high degree of expertise in aircraft systems, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals, publications, instructions, and special tools and test equipment.
• Be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of aircraft systems and maintain all aircraft main, auxiliary, secondary power systems, fuel systems, engine level and bleed air components.
• Perform troubleshooting and testing, including low and high power turn operational checks of power plant systems, replacing or repairing worn or damaged components such as fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, engine‑mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Remove and replace engines as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical directives, planning documents, test specifications, technical publications and procedures, and applicable safety manuals.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• 2–3 years of experience on Gulfstream required; GIII series preferred (GIV considered).
• Must possess, or obtain within one (1) year of hiring, an FAA Airframe and Powerplants license.
• Must be customer‑oriented.
• U.S. citizenship—required.
• Valid state driver’s license—required.
• Valid U.S. passport—required.
• High school degree or GED—required.
• Ability to travel—required.
• Must obtain basic hand tools and toolbox within three (3) months of hire.

Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.

Work typically requires climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking, with occasional lifting of objects not exceeding 50lbs. Special vision abilities required include close and peripheral vision and acceptable depth perception.

Work conditions vary from minimal physical discomfort to inclement weather with severe temperature, wind, and rain changes. The environment may include high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards.

Hourly rate: $44.03
