The Washer & Dryer Appliance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of residential and commercial laundry appliances. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining washers and dryers to meet safety and quality standards. The technician will work closely with customers to provide expert advice, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely service that minimizes downtime. By applying technical knowledge and hands‑on skills, the technician contributes to customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an appliance technician, specifically with washers and dryers.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, and appliance repair techniques.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification from a recognized appliance repair training program or technical school.
  • Experience with multiple brands and models of washers and dryers.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and ventilation systems related to laundry appliances.
  • Customer service experience in a technical support or field service role.
  • Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and mobile service management software.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in washers and dryers using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
