Essential Duties & Responsibilities Work with the Equipment Superintendent and Operations Manager’s to maintain all Heavy-Duty Equipment and keep it in safe, working order. Maintain accurate maintenance records of all work done to equipment. Maintenance may include fueling, lubrication, preventative maintenance, welding, fabrication, repairs and rebuilding. Other Duties as assigned. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Level of Experience Requirements: 5+ years of Mechanical experience in Heavy Equipment, including loaders, excavators, and haul trucks.

Must have a valid Driver’s License Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of Cat Operating systems, ability to troubleshoot and repair as necessary Ability to order necessary parts to complete maintenance and repairs as necessary. Ability to work independently without supervision. Ability to work with computers to trouble shoot various systems on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Preferred Cat Certified Mechanic 15 years of mechanical experience Class A CDL Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
