Flight Test Technician (Level 3 or
4). This role supports the Flight Operations Center of Technical Excellence for Test and Evaluation in Mojave, CA. The Technician performs production and flight line testing and maintenance, including pre- and post-flight inspections, refueling operations, aircraft towing, jacking, mechanical repairs, and testing of mechanical systems.

• Perform duties and functions of test personnel in the assigned area.
• Determine and execute sequences for installing, removing, maintaining, and repairing critical components and systems.
• Conduct testing, rework, and repair using electronic data, blueprints, engineering drawings, technical orders, bit diagrams, and other technical documents for mechanical, hydraulic, power plant, and structural systems.
• Carry out modifications and adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment, components, devices, or systems to meet test objectives.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain complex equipment.
• Notify lead personnel or supervisors of all malfunctions, defects, and damages to equipment, material, and product.
• Check work for completeness and accuracy.
• Interpret and use drawings and engineering documents to repair, maintain, or modify complex systems.
• Support shift coverage, primarily first shift, with occasional nights, weekends, and flexible scheduling.

• High school diploma and 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems, wire harness building, and repair.
• Experience with structures, drilling, and riveting.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or eligibility for continuous evaluation within 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Ability to obtain FAA Class II medical, including willingness to fly on board aircraft (including experimental category).
• Physical capability for moderate strenuous work: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting 50 pounds or more, working overhead or at heights, and accessing small, confined spaces.
• Flexible to work changing shifts.
• Travel up to 25% of the time with potential international travel.
• Certify for DCMA 5‑year medical assessment.

• High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Experience with aircraft electrical systems, wire harness building, and repair.
