Job Overview
As part of the Systems Engineering Integration and Test Team (SEIT) you will immediately impact Lockheed’s current platforms, including the F‑35, F‑22, F‑16, C‑130 and Skunk Works. Your ingenuity, creativity and ideas will help advance the business and support existing solutions.
Your Impact and ResponsibilitiesYou will develop and maintain object‑oriented software, participate in all program life‑cycle stages, and support integration and testing of aviation systems.
Basic Qualifications- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computational Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Experience working with one or more program life‑cycle steps (development, design, integration, and/or test)
- Matlab or Simulink model‑based design and autocode generation
- Developing software on Linux or Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket
- Real‑time software development & integration
- Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Version One & Jira
- Real‑time operating systems
- 6
DOF simulations - Integration and test experience with aviation systems
- Troubleshooting software/system anomalies in the systems integration lab / flight hardware
- Configuration control and management tools (Git)
- Strong background in linear algebra
- MPI and OpenMP parallel programming
- Proficiency in Modern Fortran, C and/or C++
- Scripting languages (Python, bash)
- Bitbucket repository, Confluence, JIRA
- DO178C development experience
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be US citizens. Clearance Level: Secret.
Compensation and BenefitsAnnual base salary range: $113,900 – $200,905 (for California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, Washington DC). The range may vary by location. The position is incentive plan eligible.
