CAFETERIA ASSISTANT (MARY FAY PENDLETON)

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The successful candidate must be able to accomplish the following responsibilities in a friendly, efficient and professional manner:

• Cleans and prepares food for cooking.
• May cook main entries, soups, vegetables, gravies, meat dishes, bake bread, rolls, pastries, salad, sandwiches and other foods.
• Assists in preparing main dishes, salads, fruits, and sandwiches.
• Assists in baking cookies, cakes or bread.
• To do related work as required.

• Work Site: Child Nutrition Department (Mary Fay Pendleton)
• Work Schedule: 3.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m.
  
  - 2:00 p.m.
• Benefits: Benefit package includes paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
• Requirements for Applying: Some experience in food preparation and kitchen maintenance is preferred; demonstrated dependability and cleanliness.
• Required License/Certificate: Possession of a valid Food Handler Authorization Card issued by the County of Department of Public Health.
