Overview
Central Transport is one of the nation’s largest LTL carriers, providing safe and efficient service across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are expanding our network and seeking quality mechanics to help maintain our fleet of over 2,200 tractors, 8,500 trailers, and 1,700 forklifts.
What Central Offers- Competitive Pay: $18-22/hr
- Blue Care Network Insurance Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) & PTO
- Breakdown and store inbound tire shipments
- Stack, band, pro, and deliver outbound used tires to the dock
- Check tire pressure and tread on trailers in the yard
- Air up units with 80-95 PSI and replace tires (in pairs) that have less than 4/32" tread or pressure lower than 80 PSI
- Record work on daily activities sheet and in Trans Man
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Physical Dexterity (Ability to Lift 90 lbs on a Regular Basis)
- Reliable Transportation
- Good Attitude and Willingness to Learn
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be 18 Years of Age
