Colusa County Transit operates a fleet of nine vehicles, with six buses running daily on various routes on an on‑call basis. When scheduling a ride, customers must contact the office directly, as drivers are not permitted to schedule passengers from their buses. Each bus can accommodate up to 19 passengers, or 16 passengers with two wheelchairs; all are ADA‑compliant. Passengers do not need to register for ADA services.
We offer curb‑to‑curb service to the general public and door‑to‑door service for ADA passengers.

Formal or informal education or training that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
License or CertificatePossession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate and valid Class B or Class A California Driver's License with a Passenger Endorsement, General Public Paratransit (GPPV) certificate, and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Certificate. If not already held, a valid California Class C Driver’s License is required at the time of appointment. All required licenses and certifications must be obtained before the end of the probationary period if not already held.
SalaryThe salary range consists of 15 steps. Steps 1–6 are annual merit steps with approximately a 5% difference between each step, based on successful performance. Steps 7–15 are additional merit steps, requiring two years of satisfactory performance at the previous step. Steps 7–14 provide 2.5% increases, while Step 15 offers a 5% increase. The final salary offered will depend on the applicant's experience and qualifications, ranging from steps 1 to 15.
