Minimum Qualifications- Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Class B license with P and S endorsement, issued by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles at the time of appointment.
- Have a clean driving and criminal history.
- Be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
- Be required to pass a physical performance test.
- Checking the operating condition of the bus before starting on a trip and after.
- Reporting any mechanical defects to the immediate supervisor.
- Instructing or informing students about safety practices when entering and leaving the bus.
- Maintaining orderly conduct of students on the bus.
- Working a full-time position with a guaranteed six hours per day.
- Reporting every day school is in session, with the same route daily.
- Being eligible to sign up for extra work.
Salary: $22.95/Hour (When in training, you would be eligible to work as a bus assistant at $18.49 per hour.)
Substitute Part-TimeSalary: $25.34/hour (Variable Schedule and Flexible Hours)
