California. Work primarily onsite at our office or remotely 2-4 days per week, using personal phone or internet services with reimbursement. Occasional travel to other Race offices or off‑site locations may be required.

Position Impact

The Fleet Admin supports all aspects of Race’s vehicle fleet, from maintenance and repair to fuel management and driver training, ensuring efficient, cost‑effective operations. The role includes maintaining a detailed database of vehicles, managing fuel and maintenance expenses, overseeing dispatch, scheduling repairs, and monitoring driver behavior and performance. Excellent communication skills are required to coordinate with HR, IT, Finance, and Operations.

Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required to support emergency response and 24/7 operations.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Eligibility for US employment without sponsorship
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Associate degree (A.A.) preferred or equivalent education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license, subject to DMV verification
  • At least 2‑3 years of fleet management experience
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance, fuel management, and asset tracking systems
  • Knowledge of local and state fleet regulations a plus
  • Mastery of fleet management software and data analytics tools
  • Proficiency in Fleetio and Geotab preferred
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • English proficiency (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
  • Spanish language proficiency desirable
Skills
  • Proficient use of MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and teleconferencing applications
  • Functional use of common office equipment and software
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fleet Maintenance and Management
  • Monitor allocation and safe utilization of fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance and repair with service providers
  • Manage fuel cards and monitor consumption per company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of all vehicles (purchase dates, service history, resale values)
  • Generate reports on fleet performance (fuel efficiency, utilization, maintenance costs)
  • Assist with procurement, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment
Driver Management and Compliance
  • Ensure all drivers have valid licenses and meet company standards
  • Assist in coordination of insurance claims
Operational Coordination
  • Oversee dispatch, manage vehicle availability, and collaborate with other departments
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay updated on the latest fleet management trends and technologies
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices
Vehicle Maintenance and Travel
  • Prepare vehicle/equipment pre‑op/post‑op for duties
  • Maintain a clean driving record per fleet insurance requirements
  • Spend significant portions of the workday traveling in a vehicle across various locations
  • Required availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Safety Protocols
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines outlined in the Race employee handbook
