Dairy Farmers of America - - Responsibilities:
Create and execute the daily/weekly plan for assigned shop location(s) to accomplish preventative maintenance and set or reevaluate priorities depending on location needs.;
Provide direction to mechanics to ensure that the fleet is repaired and maintained in a safe, efficient, and timely manner with the highest quality.;
Oversee shop inventory control system to ensure necessary equipment and parts levels are maintained and purchases are within budget.;
Review EDVIR’s & DVIR’s (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and communicate service needs to manager or appropriate individual.;
Train and direct fleet maintenance personnel on safest and most efficient methods of performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
