Performance Food Group - - Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of delivery operations by communicating with truck drivers via computers, phones, or two-way radios;
Assign drivers to trucks and monitor departures and arrivals to ensure on-time performance;
Remain available to assist drivers with traffic issues and inclement weather alerts;
Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers to provide timely and accurate information;
Log and transfer trip records from drivers and maintain driver progress data
