School Bus Driver (Contracted)
Salary: $32.00 per hour
Position Type: Transportation / Bus Driver
Location: District-Wide
Date Available: 09/01/2026
Closing Date: 07/08/2026
Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 1:25 p.m. – 4:25 p.m. (Minimum 6.5 hours per day)

- Must be punctual.
- Handle discipline and maintain passenger discipline to ensure safety.
- Relate well to students transported daily.
- High School diploma or GED.
- CDL Class B license with Air Brakes and P&S endorsements.
- Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the Jackson Board of Education.
- Free from citations for motor vehicle violations.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Additional Information: Extra work during nights and weekends available.
