Job Description

We are looking for a Supervisor Logistics to join our Supply Chain Solutions division in Etna, OH.

  Exempt / Salary paid twice per month
• Annual Salary: $67,500.00 per year based on experience
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Fri 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Supervisor Logistics reports to the Manager and is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing daily logistics operations, coaching staff, and ensuring performance meets company standards and business objectives.

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Manager to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules, procedures, and coordinate activities of workers for optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members collectively and individually to monitor progress, coach, counsel, and recognize successes.
• Cultivate team spirit with Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and promote cooperation by improving internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend awards or merit increases.
• Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
• Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and policies.
• Provide orientation to employees and Lead Hands with necessary information, technology, and materials.

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• One year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Zero to one year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
