** join us** !## Who are we looking for?
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for clerical duties related to shipping and receiving activities. This position performs administrative tasks in addition to Material Handler responsibilities.##
Key Responsibilities Contact carriers and schedule shipping orders going out
· Process orders based on customers preferred shipping system (ups, Fed Ex-express)
· Track inventory and report any shortage to sales team
· Responsible for scheduling receiving and shipping appointments
· Adage Crystal Report and receive data into system
· Create warehouse transfers, stock transfers and shipping documents
· Print daily shipping orders
· Communicate with customer service and supply chain departments
· Answering phones and updating record
Candidate Profile
· Previous experience in a warehouse or with heavy lifting preferred
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually during shift
· Ability to consistently meet minimum production standards and company service levels
· Must obtain proper powered industrial truck certifications during initial training phase
· Ability to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
· Ability to operate pallet jack and other required materials handling equipment (MHE)
· Must be able to build full pallets orders with bags or boxes that can weigh up to 50lbs
· Must be able to use scanning equipment because all warehouse items are bar coded
· Must be able to operate or be willing to learn to operate the stand-up and sit-down equipment## Benefits PTO (Personal time off) Medical, Dental, VIsion, 401K
