The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service and will support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs (e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot).
• Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, including answering calls, looking up parts and quoting prices, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept payments, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receival, stocking, fronting/facing, and cleaning.
• Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns to the distribution center, assisting with stock adjustments and inventory cycle counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and company requirements are met.
• Perform in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow) such as installing wipers, testing and charging batteries, testing charging system, scanning vehicle trouble codes, and replacing headlight capsules.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries as business needs dictate (driving record must meet company eligibility requirements).
• All other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service; ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desired:
  Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
