$15.00 to $18.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8 % on transactions, which could average an additional $5.69 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Makes the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per established procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Will assist customers on the exterior of the building or retrieve products from exterior storage if required.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8 % commission based on the gross profit of personal performance. Details are provided during the interview.

Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
