Job Title: Payroll / Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Ventura County, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $33–$36/hour (DOE)

• Manage payroll processing and accounts payable functions
• Support light bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records
• Play a key role in day-to-day accounting and financial operations

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Handle accounts payable, including entering invoices and processing payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with light bookkeeping and general ledger support
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Support month-end closing and reporting as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal team regarding payments and account status

• Experience with payroll and accounts payable required
• Basic bookkeeping experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software (Quick Books or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

• Payroll processing and AP management
• Data entry and financial recordkeeping
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
