Pay Rate: $30/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime as needed; occasional weekend work (typically at month-end) based on business needs

The Buyer I is responsible for procuring goods and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery
. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support operational and project procurement needs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of procurement best practices.

• Review purchase requisitions to determine appropriate procurement methods
• Identify and solicit bids or quotations from potential suppliers
• Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate pricing and terms
• Generate and manage purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies
• Monitor order status and expedite deliveries to meet project timelines
• Resolve pricing, quality, and delivery discrepancies with suppliers
• Maintain supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations
• Support cost control and procurement process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or related role
• Knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation strategies
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment

• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems
• Familiarity with contract management principles
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management
• Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPSM
