Pay Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime as needed; occasional weekend work (typically at month-end) based on business needs
The Buyer I is responsible for procuring goods and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery
. This role collaborates with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support operational and project procurement needs in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of procurement best practices.
- Review purchase requisitions to determine appropriate procurement methods
- Identify and solicit bids or quotations from potential suppliers
- Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate pricing and terms
- Generate and manage purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies
- Monitor order status and expedite deliveries to meet project timelines
- Resolve pricing, quality, and delivery discrepancies with suppliers
- Maintain supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations
- Support cost control and procurement process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or related role
- Knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation strategies
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems
- Familiarity with contract management principles
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management
- Professional certifications such as CSCP or CPSM

100% onsite role in Camarillo, CA
Standard day shift schedule
Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
