** What's the Job?*
* The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Injection Molding works mostly independently to troubleshoot and continuous process improvement efforts. These efforts consist of reviewing designs, assisting in testing and validation of manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment, making improvements to equipment and maintaining SOPs for equipment used to manufacture innovative products.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* + Work with operators/leads/supervisors to identify areas of improvement on existing equipment.

+ Prepare drawings for equipment modifications using 2-D and 3-D CAD software.

+ Attend new equipment design reviews and provide recommendations for ease of operation, maintenance, and robustness of design.

+ Assist in the testing and validation of new equipment.

+ Maintain SOPs and Maintenance Procedures.

+ Document any special/unique operations for assembly or operation.

+ Assist in installation and startup of new equipment.

+ Train operators on the use of new equipment and procedures.

+ Assist maintenance and production in troubleshooting existing equipment problems and where applicable, modify equipment to improve both reliability and quality.

+ Independently contribute to efforts of continuous process improvements and troubleshooting.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline

+ 4+ years of experience working in a similar position

+ Proficiency CAD software

+ Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience conducting root cause analysis and methodical problem-solving approach.

+ Must have strong technical writing skills for documentation and cross-departmental communication.

+ Must have proven understanding of validation protocols and manufacturing documentation practices.

+ Ability to work independently or in teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

+ Must demonstrate great attention to detail in troubleshooting, analysis, documentation, design, and communication.
