Job Title:

Drafter/Designer

Camarillo, CA – Actalent seeks a skilled Drafter/Designer with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Create and maintain technical drawings and designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) with ERP/MRP systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and oversee change control procedures and documentation management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience as a drafter‑BOM builder, or a Diploma or degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology with 10 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Extensive experience in BOM management tools and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to manage change control procedures and documentation effectively.

• A strong portfolio of technical drawings and designs.
• Experience in a similar role as a Drafter or Designer.

The role requires proficiency in CAD software and BOM management tools. It is a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on technical accuracy and innovation, with standard office attire expected.

Pay range: $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Camarillo, CA.
