RF Engineer

Active Secret Clearance Required (Top Secret Preferred) Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 2+ years of experience, OR Master's with 1+ year, OR PhD with 0+ years Active Secret Security Clearance Experience with RF systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work onsite full-time in a Navy development facility Experience supporting RF hardware development, testing, and integration activities Plusses:
Active Top Secret Clearance Experience with RF component selection and RF system development Experience using RF test equipment Experience mitigating co-site RF interference Experience reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings Knowledge of Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) principles Familiarity with aircraft RF safety requirements Experience working within Agile Development environments Familiarity with Jira and Confluence Experience integrating RF systems with military aircraft Familiarity with MIL-STD requirements and military standards Day-to-Day:
Support senior RF engineers in the development of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems for the U.S. Marine Corps Review operational scenarios, RF architectures, and performance requirements Assist with RF component requirements and specifications Research and recommend RF components including transceivers, antennas, amplifiers, filters, switches, couplers, splitters, and cables Evaluate RF component performance and vendor-provided simulations Assist in building and maintaining RF test benches Conduct RF hardware testing and document results Support RF chamber testing and system validation efforts Create and maintain RF block diagrams and technical documentation Assist with RF switching hardware and RF circuit card assembly evaluations Develop and execute RF Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) Troubleshoot RF system issues and support root cause analysis Support EMI/EMC compliance efforts related to MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464 Gather technical data for HERO, HERF, and HERP analyses Support laboratory and flight test evaluations of RF system performance Assist with RF safety investigations and technical reporting Participate in configuration management activities and engineering reviews
