CNC Machinist​/Manual Machinist

For our small new production floor, we are looking for a full-time employee for the setup and operation of Haas CNC machinery and fabricate metal parts by operating manual mechanical equipment (lathe & milling machine).

You need to be a detail-oriented, tech-savvy creator and enjoy solving problems and have excellent time-management skills. You should have knowledge in design, mathematics, mechanics, processing, and production. You also need to have hand-eye coordination and you should be able to work in a physically demanding environment. You will report to the production supervisor.

Essential Responsibilities/Requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following.

• Use blueprints to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances levels of the finished products.
• Take measurements of material and select the appropriate machine for the process.
• Reviewing specifications.
• Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs, and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary
• Properly set up, program, operate, and disassemble CNC mills and lathes. (optional: manual mills and lathes.)
• Use precision measuring tools.
• Write basic programs.
• Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold the company reputation
• Modify programs in response to problems.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.

• Familiarity with machine tools and equipment.
• Analytical and mathematical skills.
• Values precision and enforces quality standards.
• Ability to work well independently.
• English is required/German and or Spanish language skills are a plus.
