Job Title: Laser Cutting Machine Operator
Location: Oxnard, CA
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Laser Cutting Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment for metal and plastic materials. This role focuses on quality, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate laser cutting machines
- Load and verify laser programs per work orders
- Read and interpret work orders and drawings
- Perform first article and in-process inspections
- Measure parts using calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Inspect cut quality (no burrs, pits, or defects)
- Record quantities and complete work order documentation
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred
- Laser cutting experience a plus
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed
- Full-time, manufacturing environment
- PPE required
