Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester A
You will help the team deliver quality mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies on a 1st-shift, onsite schedule (6am-3pm, Mon-Fri). Your work ensures on-time delivery to customers and supports continuous improvement efforts across production and test operations. This is a temporary assignment through October 2026, working directly with manufacturing technicians, test engineers, and supervisors.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform moderately complex assembly and test tasks using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment.
- Record and interpret test results using electrical test equipment and flow measurement devices; identify malfunctions and rework as instructed.
- Read and apply blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives to produce conforming assemblies.
- Assemble, test, and solder components to customer and industry standards; perform touch-up and surface painting as needed.
- Participate in lean initiatives by identifying opportunities for productivity and cost improvements; assist in training less-experienced team members.
- Maintain safety standards and a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area; ensure equipment calibration per schedule.
- Two or more years of industry experience in assembly/test within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
- Strong mechanical reasoning and ability to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
- Experience applying product and process knowledge and implementing lean initiatives.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Soldering certification per customer requirements.
Pay rate range: $22.4 - $25/hr
