Molding Production Operator; 1st Shift

As a part of our expanding Injection Molding team, the Molding Production Operator is responsible for running, trimming, bagging, boxing, counting, and storing molded parts to ensure the quality of parts produced. They will work closely with team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining safety standards and meeting quality control specifications.

• Monitor molded parts while machines are running.
• Adjust the injection molding process as needed to produce quality parts.
• Measure and inspect molded parts for visual and dimensional issues to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Trim excess material from molded parts.
• Properly count, bag, and pack product to prevent contamination or distortion.

• Injection Molding skills are trained by Meissner. No other training is required.
• A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product is essential.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math knowledge (multiply, subtract, divide, etc).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Filter Production is performed in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder‑free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Shorts, loose, or baggy clothing are not permitted. Makeup, hair styling products, soiled, fuzzy, or frayed clothing must not be worn into the cleanroom. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only nonsmokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom.
