Become a Key Player as an Assembler/Tester A
You will help ensure on-time delivery of mechanically and hydraulically based products by assembling, testing, and inspecting assemblies to customer and industry standards. You will work closely with the manufacturing team and quality stakeholders to diagnose issues and implement process improvements. This is an onsite, first-shift (6am-3pm, Mon-Fri) temporary assignment to cover a leave of absence.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Assemble, test, and inspect moderately complex products using hand and power tools, assembly fixtures, and inspection equipment
- Record and interpret test results using electrical test equipment and flow measurement devices
- Identify test-disclosed malfunctions and perform rework as instructed
- Read and follow blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications
- Perform touch-up or full surface painting and part finishing as required
- Participate in lean initiatives by identifying areas for productivity and cost improvements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of aerospace-related assembly/test or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for hands-on assembly work
- Ability to use standard business software and record test data accurately
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Soldering certification (may be required per customer requirements)
- Prior experience with oscilloscopes, transducers, or X-Y recorders
$27.20 - $34.00/hour
