Stacking Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Stacking Machine Operator for our 2nd shift. The position is responsible for setting up and operating a stacking machine.

Training
:
Up to 8 weeks during the 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). Training is flexible if unavailable on first shift.

Hourly Rate (Non‑Exempt): $18.00 – $20.00 per hour.

Shift schedule after training: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

Required

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least three months of microscope experience.
  • Ability to set‑up and operate a semi‑automated machine.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred

Education and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a Clean Room Environment.
Essential Functions
  • Upload program instructions to the traveler to stack sheets of dielectric material.
  • Stack sheets of dielectric material.
  • Read travelers to ensure correct build‑up design and dielectric type.
  • Locate program files and record data in SPC Data Entry.
  • Inspect stacked bars through the microscope.
  • Perform first‑article inspection by conducting multiple tests before starting production lots.
  • Work with chemicals used for screen cleaning.
  • Ensure proper configuration and orientation of tooling to support consistent, high‑quality production by aligning multiple screens.
