Job SummaryResponsible for preparing and storing materials for production. Process, check, verify, and inventory materials received and released to production. Complete related computer entries and documentation. Store inventory properly in correct locations and ensure proper rotation of dated materials. Receive production line requests and deliver supplies to the line accurately and timely. Assist area personnel as needed and keep Lead and Production Supervisor informed of significant problems.
EssentialFunctions
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, counting scale, and other equipment to move product from warehouse or clean zone to the clean rooms and/or specific storage areas.
- Move finished products from cleanroom to Final Inspection.
- Pick parts for Jobs/Work Orders based on a bill of materials; identify lot numbers for each product moved to production/clean rooms.
- Follow directions and communicate clearly with Leads, Production Supervisor and other departments.
- Serve as primary backup for tube cutter.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED; or 2–4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certified a plus.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate paperwork.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use related computer applications (Excel, Outlook, ERP system).
- Valid CA Driver License with proof of automobile insurance.
