CNC Machine Set Up Technician

Camarillo, CA

Pay: $25-30/hr DOE

Shift: 1st shift M-F

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for setting up, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining operations to produce high‑quality precision components. The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented problem solver with strong machining knowledge, experience with CNC milling and turning equipment, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Assist the machine shop manager and programmers in setting up and running jobs. We have a machine shop with sophisticated HAAS and Matsuura Machining centers (10 mills and 1 lathe) with 5 axis and pallet changing capabilities. You will work with our QC department to ensure parts meet customer requirements. The ability to program, design and make fixtures is preferred.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge.
