Job Description
The In-Process Inspector is responsible for inspection of electronic and mechanical assemblies, printed wiring boards, subassemblies, modules, and completed units. The inspections are conducted at various stages of production to ensure compliance with engineering documentation, quality, production and workmanship standards. Assist with the inspection of electronic assemblies and electromechanical parts. Fill out all required inspection checklist and keep accurate records. Assist receiving inspection with inspection of raw materials as needed.
Complete job function in a timely manner with high quality. Provide hands‑on job function training to coworkers as needed. Must comply with all Electro Static Discharge ESD precautions and company policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
HS Diploma or GED. 2+ yrs of electrical in‑process inspection exp. Knowledge of electronic assembly processes, SMT and Through‑holes. Able to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and procedures in English. Familiar with IPC‑A‑610 workmanship.
Skills PreferredIPC‑A‑610 Certification.
